Translator and interpreter: Danish and English

In 1993 I graduated with an MA in English from the Copenhagen Business School. While there I specialised in English law, with a particular focus on intellectual property rights. Later that year I received my government accreditation as a translator and interpreter. I have also studied intellectual property law at the London School of Economics, and am trained as a legal secretary. I have taken several courses in English law and finance, and have close connections with linguists in Cambridge. In addition to my MA in English I have a BA in German. I have also lived and studied in France.

After two years in the communications business I worked as an independent translator focusing on law, finance and communications, building up a client list which included a number of well-known companies and law firms. I have also taught English in banks, accountancy firms, law firms and other businesses.

I am a member of the Danish Association of State-Authorised Translators and Interpreters.
